The Story Behind the Space
Katharina and Helmut didn't find this house—they created it as a manifestation of their own life journey. As curious, adventurous people whose lives are characterized by constant exploration, growth, and development, they brought the bold spirit of Los Angeles to the rugged, timeless stillness of the Black Forest.
Four years of intensive renovation were not mere restoration. It was a conscious act of curation. Every material, every surface, every detail was chosen with clarity to create an atmosphere that doesn't distract, but focuses. It doesn't merely decorate, but soothes.
